Aims and Scope

Science & Technology Studies is an international, peer-reviewed journal dedicated to studies of science and technology as socio-material phenomena, including their historical and contemporary production, with their associated forms of knowledge, expertise, social organization, and controversy. This includes interest in advancing knowledge production techniques, methodology, theory and interventions within the field of science and technology studies (STS). We also welcome high quality contributions that are based on substantial theoretical or empirical engagement with the multidisciplinary field of STS, including but not limited to contributions from fields such as anthropology, sociology, history, philosophy, political science, educational science, and communication studies.

Science & Technology Studies publishes research papers, discussion papers, editorials, special issues, and book reviews that engage with the above aims and scope of the journal.
